We’ve often called here over the years and it has always been of a very high standard. We are lucky enough to have had lunch here twice in the last 2 weeks and have been impressed both times. The atmosphere is always welcoming, whether they are quiet or busy and nothing is too much trouble. Four of us stopped for a late lunch at 2pm on a bright Saturday afternoon, choosing to sit outside, as we were cycling. The offer of the day was Burger and Beer, which we ordered 4 varieties of. The beef burgers were excellent, moist, cooked just right - great toasted sour dough bun, excellent relish and cheese adornments. The fries and accompanying salad were equally excellently prepared. The vegetarian and fish options likewise. Beer available was Peroni or Larger. The staff are 'home from home' friendly and accommodating, and excellent value for money. It's our 3rd stop at this well situated cosy little restaurant (which just gets better every time). Nothing to fault.Verified Sunday Roast ❤️ Another amazing Sunday Roast. Both my son and I chose the beef and it was amazing. Veg perfectly cooked and gravy was fantastic. Can’t wait for our next visit. Popped in today, Wednesday 24th July for a bite to eat with one of the beautiful ladies I support. She does struggle quite significantly with her mobility, but nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and we are always welcomed with a smile! Today I had the mini chicken Caesar salad for my lunch - I’d had it before and wondered if I’d raved on about it a little much! Absolutely NOT! It was amazing! Photos attached!
